Is it possible to lock old threads?

| It's annoying when someone brings up an old topic from 3 years ago....often just to draw flames. Is it possible to lock threads after a certain amount of inactivity? |

Well ... the OP may want to return after several months and provide an update. Also, etiquette varies between forums -- some forums WANT you to resurrect threads, other forums want you to open new threads. |
