Any thoughts on Bancroft

Our daughter got into Bancroft out of boundary (as well as a DCPS school with a much better academic reputation), BUT Bancroft is closer to our house and I'd love for her to learn Spanish (way down on the list at Oyster). We've called a few times to take a tour at Bancroft, but keep getting the run around (which concerns me). So, does anyone have any helpful information on Bancroft (quality of instruction, level of Spanish that a native English speaker learns)? Thanks.

FYI if you are interested in getting info about Bancroft too. I ended up going to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MtPParents/ and got lots of responses to my post.
