Getting into Lyles-Crouch - Old Town resident

My wife and I live above a quiet shop on King St. which seems to be the dividing line for Jefferson-Houston and Lyles-Crouch.
Is there anyway to opt into Lyles-Crouch?

You need to call to see if you are actually in the LC district. If you are technically not, then chances of "opting in" are not great...

Not likely. The ended the Opt-in option last year. In fact, even if you are in boundary but the grade your child would enter is already full, you still won't be able to send your child to Lyles-Crouch due to enrollment caps. They will send you off to one of the poor performing schools - like Jefferson.

Nobody can be sent to Jefferson Houston because it is not making AYP. You can opt to send your child there.
