Friends are visiting DC this weekend from out of town and are staying near Union Station. We only have a short window of time to catch up, so we were thinking we would meet for coffee near their hotel. Any recommendations for a good place to go, other than a Starbucks? |
Well, There's an Au Bon Pain and a Corner Bakery *in* the station, but they're not very good places for catching up.
Hmm...How about Ebenezer's? http://ebenezerscoffeehouse.com/ |
I second Ebernezers. It's a really nice place with pretty good coffee. It's at 2nd and F ST NE |
Ebenezers! It's a great place, good coffee and food. If it's nice, there is good outdoor seating. |
I agree, Ebenezer's. |
Ebenezer's is very good.
There's also a lot of coffee places in Union Station. |
OP here. Thanks for all the quick responses. Sounds overwhelmingly like we should check out Ebenezer's ![]() |
Are they staying at the Courtyard Marriott on Second St? If yes, Pound across the street or the new Tea place around the corner on 1st St. |
a couple more blocks and you could go to Sidamo. (5th and H) out of towners won't be impressed by the boarded up buildings or road contructions, but the coffee, food and friendliness is the best! |
