MS/HS options after Key ES?

We are interested in sending DD to Key elementary but are unsure what our MS and HS options would be. I believe that she could continue the immersion program at Gunston MS and Wakefield HS but does she have to go to these schools? We are thinking of moving in boundary for Key. Thanks!

I have never heard of an immersion program at middle and high school. As far as I know, after Key you just go back to your base school if you are not in the Key boundaries.

I stand corrected - I just googled it and saw that Gunston and Wakefield do have immersion programs as continuations of the programs at Key and Claremont. However, as far as I know you do not have to go to those schools - like I said, you can also just go back to your base schools for middle and high school.

Yes - the Spanish immersion program continues at Gunston MS and Wakefield HS if you so choose. But you could also just go back to your base schools for MS or HS if you prefer. You would have to check the boundary maps/enter in the address you are considering. Key feeds into 2 or 3 different MS and both Yorktown and Washington-Lee HS. Your choices will be very address-dependent.
