Conservatives in the District

Where are you? Where do you live and why are you so silent on District politics? Even if we're a small voice, a cogent argument could still make waves.

We're in Georgetown and on Capitol Hill. As a group, very few of us plan to stay here for very long, so maybe it's not worth the effort? Plus it's not like cogent arguments by other groups - even majority ones - have changed anything. As a group, we're also not exactly the militating types.

Where are you going? Im not leaving, the suburbs are just as liberal. Or do you mean back home? This town for better or worse will remain my home and when we're too old to move we'll move to an old folks home on Conn Ave or the "Deathchester".

While that is true, if you live in downtown DC and your kids go to DC privates are you going to move to Loudoun? I'll happily pay these taxes and not have that soul-crushing commute thank you.
