We are looking at a new stroller for when baby #2 arrives. We have a single BOB and would maybe get a double BOB for jogging in a year or so. We are just looking for a good comfortable general stroller - one that is fairly easy to maneuver in stores - we live in the city and walk everywhere. We don't like the double strollers where one kid is underneath the other. I love my BOB but the double one is too wide for the smaller stores etc. Any thoughts on these two would be greatly appreciated. |
I have a City mini (DC) and my sister has a Bumbleride (NY).
I LOVE the City Mini double. My sister likes the Bumbleride, but says the Bumbleride is super heavy and hard to fold, although it is slightly lighter/easier to push. She ended up also getting a City Select, which is better. FWIW, she has twins and mine are 1.5 yrs apart. |
does it matter the size/age difference? ours will be 3 yrs apart....are there different weight restrictions? |
I have the same question... so I thought I'd resurface this one. We recently moved, and got rid of the old strollers. Our children are 19 months and 4 yrs old - both on the small and skinny side. I'd like a double jogger that is narrow and lightweight. My online searches came up with Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller and Bumbleride Indie Twin double stroller. I've heard great things about the city mini from friends, but nothing on the Bumbleride. Any one with any experience?
TIA! |
