Is there any place in DC/MD that will measure you for jeans? I can't find a pair that fit right since my DS. TIA
No one will measure, but places like the Denim Bar carry a ton of brands and know how each one fits. They'll match you up with one that works.
I just bought some of Levi's new Curve line (online) and LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I followed their measuring instructions on the website (which worked perfectly) but I did see something about going to their store and getting measured.
Totally random thought, but are you ever in Nashville? I just moved here from there, and there is an amazing denim store with dozens of sewing machines in house to custom-build your jeans. The brand is imogene+willie... they're partnering with J. Crew this spring for a line of denim, and they're amazing. So... you may not be in Nashville anytime soon, but on the off-chance that you are, check it out! (Posting this just made me so homesick!!).

Find a pair that fits perfectly up top (Gap is best for me), then find a tailor/dry cleaner you can trust and get them cut and hemmed.
I have to do this with all of my pants/jeans. Average/regular is too long, but petite bottoms don't always fit, because I'm not "petite" or little. It's worth the $10 per pair. good luck! |
