| We're going to a friends' house for the weekend and would like to bring some dairy-free baked goods. Do you know of a good place to get them in DC or Bethesda? Thanks! |
| While not precisely what you are requesting Sweet Sin Bakery sells Gluten-Free items, many of which are dairy-free. They are located in Baltimore but you can buy many of their goods at MOMs Organic Market and the Lilit Cafe in Bethesda. I think Lilit Cafe generally has a larger supply. |

Sticky Fingers bakery in DC (columbia heights) sells vegan baked goods... that is, dairy and egg free.
Personally though, anything with dairy-free frosting is pretty gross. Dairy and egg-free cookies, however, are virtually indistinguishable from regular cookies. |

Sticky Fingers
Chez Hareg (Mt Vernon/Convention Center) there is also a bakery on 4th st NE just north of Rhode Island Ave NE that has a lot of vegan baked goods. |
| Any kosher bakery - Kosher Pastry Oven or Shalom's Kosher Market in Wheaton or Koshermart in Rockville will have non-dairy desserts. |

Check out the list on VegDC:
