Is there a school listserv? maybe ask there? Our PTSA maintains a list of tutors.

I would ask your child's teacher or the school itself. Also don't be afraid to make a change if your child doesn't click with the person well.

You might want to check out the major chains (Huntington, Sylvan, Kumon). We used Huntington with one of my kids and couldn't be happier with the program and results.
