Sangster Elementary

Moving to this area. Does anyone have any first hand information on this school?

Sangster is a very well regarded school. It is also an Advanced Academic center. It does not currently have full day kindergarten, but that may change. My kids do not go there, but I have a good friend and her child is in first grade there.

The neighborhoods that send to Sangster are very "family" types of neighborhoods (in the sense that they tend to be nuclear families, white, upper middle class, not super-upper class like some of the schools to the west/northwest section of the county), lots of government/military families. Test scores are very good (as would be expected at an Advanced Academic Center -- that's what we call a Gifted and Talented program).

I would expect you to be very happy with Sangster (unless you have a kindergarten and you want a full day program).
