there have been a couple of posts about this so you may want to do a search. my son also has gotten rashes from various sunscreens, including neutrogena. we found that blue lizard and california baby are ok for him. we got blue lizard at cvs and the california baby at whole foods. sounds like different ones work for different kids though so you may need to experiment.

We also used California Baby and he's been okay with that. We got it at Whole Foods. It's pricey, though, unfortunately...

My son is the same way and we use California Baby, but I hate how long it takes to rub in (he always looks white and streaky - hard to get it on his face)

Vanicream Sunscreen 30. Our son has eczema and this is what the dermatologist (Dr. Athena Economides) recommended. You can order it online or ask you pharmacist to place an order - does not require a prescription.

Vanicream!!! I get it at www.natlallergy.com and its the only thing (use the face soap and creams and lotions too) that doesnt sting my kids when they are hot and sweaty. A dear friends with a son who has SEVERE skin allergies recommend it. Its not expensive and its great. I tried Kiehl's first (you may want to as you can buy it here in G'town) and even that stung a little bit.

Burt's Bees has worked for our DD.
Keep in mind the main thing to look for is a Physical sunscreen that contains physical elements that block the sun. Yoru typical sunscreen like coppertone, etc... is a "chemical" sunscreen - there is a chemical reaction that occurs on your skin that prevents the sun's rays to harm your skin. That is what irritates my daughter's skin.
