| But its not, cause its not happening nationally. SO it reallly only impacts the local VA leagues as PP references VPSL/RL. Great for GA's business but should have zero impact on top ECNL girls teams (for now), other than the fact its more competitive to keep your roster spot or latch onto a roster from outside with less ECNL teams |
It’s still February….They are still working on the DMV….dont speak too soon. Even if these were GAs only moves this period, that’s an A + considering how things went last year. |
| Start with the wealthiest county in the nation, Loudoun and then work your way out to other hunting grounds in the country. Sounds like a good business plan to me. |
More likely GA will give clubs 1 year of no dues to GA if clubs switch over. $$$ solves "problems". |
Doubt it... But when VDA gets accepted into MLSN next year, they'll get at least 1 GA team. |
nah, I would give it a B. no big/powerful ECNL to GA teams have dropped as of now. |
| Well said, its almost a leveling back to where everyone was two years ago. GA had a lot of ground to make up after last year. Scales are potentially starting to tip in their favor this year, but theres still a scale with another viable option on it and no one outside of Loudoun Co. crying over NVA departure, trust. |
Also VA ECNL tryouts is March 1st. Start with the earliest, and then move down your list as each tryout month approaches... |
Probably about a year away before you see something like that. |
Not even a B. What have they really done? Added middling and lower ECNL or DPL teams? Not impactful nationally. Big ripples locally as we further water down NOVA and go from 7 "elite" teams to 9 "elites" now, but doesn't change the national balance of power at all. |
More likely its to break the snobbyist most vocal parents from ECNL then work their way out. Clubs in places like Socal are more about results which makes them harder to bring over. |
TFA getting into GA for girls in SoCal is going to shakeup that area |
| No its not. Slammers Koge and Surf stay ECNL the rest will stay put. zero chance those two leave ECNL |
Let’s look at Mid Atlantic 2012 age group. National Standings NVA - 31 SJEB - 18 SYC - 45 REAL FA - 67 Not a bad start. |
Go look at TFA and their history. There will be a shake up. |
