Steele for public office?

Jeff, I have noticed that you have gotten more political lately. I agree with most of your views and enjoy reading your posts. My question is this, why don't you run for office and thus become the independent voice that the city needs.

Not a bad idea PP. In these polarised times a Jeff and Michael Steele dream ticket might be just what the nation needs to unite and lead us.

Failing that, it might make a good sitcom. Hilarity ensues when Jeff takes in the now down-at-heel Michael as a roomate...

I can't now because I have a young family and can't devote myself to politics. But, after the kids go off to school, I plan to become one of those grumpy old guys on the ANC.
