leaking amniotic fluid

I've read that it's possible to have a slow leak in your amniotic fluid. How can you tell if this is happening?

I've had a handful of times when my underwear seems soaked...but it's in the morning, after I"ve walked to work, been warm, and had to pee for my 45 minute commute.

Not sure what I'm seeing here.

It is very easy for your doctor to test if it is amniotic fluid -- basically it is just a q-tip that they swab you with and if it turns the right color it is amniotic fluid. You probably need to go after right after/during one of these incidents.
