1 or 2 IUIs per cycle w/ donor sperm--research?

| For someone without (known) fertility issues using frozen donor sperm, my internet searching turned up one or two studies that there wasn't a difference in conception rates for 2 IUIs per cycle (as long as the 1 IUI was within a certain window after a positive OPK), and no studies indicating that 2 IUIs per cycle is better. However, it seems like a lot of doctors, including mine, think that 2 IUIs per cycle improves the odds enough to be worth it. Thoughts? Any other research on this? Thanks! |

| Did 2 IUI's each of the 4 times we tried did not concieve now we have moved onto IVF. Dont understand why they just didnt put me through to IVF from the begining your chances are so much greater in concieving than it is with IUI |
