Eagle View school in Fairfax

Any Eagle View parents out there with children in K that could share their experience? Our DD will start K in the Fall. Currently we are supposed to be assigned to Eagle View, unless the changes in the district lines move us to another school. We have heard the school is already over capacity and that K classes are as big as 27 kids, which for small children trying to adapt to a new environment may be quite intimidating. What do you think of the quality of education given the high student to teacher ratio? TIA.

I LOVE this school. I was worried about the class size, but it hasn't seemed to affect my child at all. EV added a new K class to accommodate all the new kids after the school year had begun. My daughter was moved to this class and adjusted with zero problems. She is learning at a rapid pace and I couldn't be happier. The best part is she loves to go to school everyday.

EV has only been open approx 5 years and has had annex rooms out back for about 3 of them. WAY over capacity, though some of the kids are moving elsewhere with the boundary study. That's really all I know.

OP here. Thanks for the responses. Do you know how many K classrooms they have? More than 10?
