Does Mo Co do a kindergarten readiness assessment?

I'm wondering if Mo Co does a kindergarten readiness assessment before promoting a preschooler to kindergarten. Does the preschooler have to pass any kind of assessment?

No. If you're 5, you're in.

They do an informal assessment but the PP is correct. If they will be 5 by the cut-off date, they can't deny that child entry into K.

From talking with Kindergarten teachers, it sounds like it's an informal assessment done at orientation for placement of your child. PP's are correct - if you're 5, you're in.
