But how can you tell? He has always been a dimwit. To me, it seems like normal memory issues and loss of filter that I see in most 80 year olds. It just seems severe with him because of his baseline.

I agree with this. He is also getting the best medical care available to any human, he doesn’t give a shit about anyone other than himself and he can bully his way out of any issue, so he’s not stressed, and he’s somewhat active for an old person.

Yeah, but some people just manage to avert these things. Health-wise, he reminds me of my 82 year old relative. She has been unhealthy her entire adult life and made very little attempt to eat well and get real exercise. She is obese/pear shaped to the point of it severely limiting her mobility. But she has never had any substantial health problems. Her heart is fine, no diabetes, no stroke, no cancer. Her mother was the exact same way and lived to 90. She is about to outlive her husband, who has always been very healthy and active. Another relative who was always active and ate well and didn’t even like sugary treats much, passed away from complications of type 2 when he was only 70.

If Democrats want to win back the presidency in 2028, they should absolutely pray that Trump lives through his second term. Like it or not, JD Vance would be *very* tough to beat if he were running as the incumbent president. Democrats should wish for Vance to be nothing more than VP.

True, but not all of Trump’s siblings have lived super long. Trump had four siblings. Besides the Fred who died at 42 due to alcoholism, he has the following:

*Robert Trump (died 2020): The youngest brother, who died at age 71 after an undisclosed illness.

*Maryanne Trump Barry (died 2023): The eldest sister and a retired federal judge, who died at age 86 at her home in Manhattan.

* His only surviving sibling, Elizabeth, is 83.

It would be interesting to know what Robert and Marianne died of, but apparently it’s been kept private.

Except we already know that, unlike your relative, Trump has health issues. He is on two statins and at a minimum has CVI (I think this is probably a cover for more serious issue).

But I don’t think he’s been looking that sick lately.
