DW and DH we both enjoy watching these shows. The guy skipping out is always so inevitable.

I watch both of them - I think I've seen every episode. It's fascinating and disturbing and, in terms of the guys, very predictable (there are a few that are good guys, have stuck around, and are actually interested in their kids).

It has also made me aware of exactly how good adoption can be for these girls, because you can truly see how attempting to raise a child as a single teen mom will derail these girls' lives forever.

And finally, Jenelle and Chelsea are awful and almost impossible to watch.

I watched it once b/c my hometown was on there. It was mortifying, but then again I knew lots of my classmates who were grandparents by 32 or 33 (before I even had my first) so I guess I should not be shocked.

Obsessed with Teen Mom 2, sadly. I justify it to myself by saying it's the only TV I watch (besides RHOBH, of course... ).

Leah and Corey are so darn sweet! Love these two.

Kailyn is a spoiled, entitled brat. She is so ungrateful and selfish. Her baby's daddy isn't that great himself, either.

I feel bad for Jenelle. Yes, she is lazy and irresponsible, but it's obvious that a huge part of it has to do with how her mother raised her.

Chelsea is an idiot. She chooses Adam over everyone else, including her dad and her best friend. Adam, a guy who:
-Called her a fat, stretch-marked bitch
-Called their child a mistake and said he wanted to sign his rights away
-Complains about paying child support
-Doesn't actually pay his child support
-Refuses to pay child support and his portion of the rent at the same time
-Cheats on her
-Won't get a job

I could go on...

I don't feel bad for Jenelle. Yes, her mom is a piece of work, but Jenelle could make the choice to actually parent her child, not be stoned all the time, not make her disgusting boyfriend her top priority...I think she's a relatively smart girl, but I just wish she'd put that beautiful child up for adoption and given him a chance - raised by either her or her mom, he's a lost cause already.

I can't add anything to what 19:34 said about Chelsea. Adam is one of the most disgusting dads on Teen Mom, because he's pretending to be involved and interested, when in reality, he probably just wants to be on tv and get paid. Chelsea actually seemed to have a pretty good set-up, living with Megan who actually wanted to help out with the baby (and who is apparently now pregnant herself), but she threw away an actual good friend for that piece of sh*t Adam.

Leah and Corey are awesome. I can't imagine being a teen parent of twins, one who has some type of undiagnosed delays, and actually manage to be a decent parent and have a mature relationship.

I do feel sorry for Kailyn. Every time they show her creepy-ass mother, I see Jerri Blank (can't remember the tv show, but it was Amy Sedaris going back to high school as a 40 year old). That woman is ODD. No wonder Kailyn is so messed up. Sure, she's whiny, but she is going to school and working, and trying to navigate being broken up with her boyfriend while living in his parents' house...I can't imagine I'd be doing much better in such a f'd up situation.

Yes, I watch this show WAYYYYYY too much...in fact, I need to go catch up on the most recent episode now.

I love the show, and watched it a ton while pregnant... i really felt for these girls and sometimes totally understood where they were coming from -of course, with the knowledge and self-control of 16 years and a college education. my husband hates it; he thinks its so sad.
