2 families getting together for dinner -- what's your go-to meal?

Mine is lasagna and I'm sick of it -- but looking for something that doesn't require a lot of time in the kitchen. Any suggestions?

Spaghetti and meat sauce with caesar salad

Roast chicken, rice and broccoli

Make your own tacos: hard and soft shells, chicken and meat, toppings (only thing to cook is the chicken and meat)

Meatloaf, baked potatoes and green beans

Al of these should be less time in the kitchen than lasagna.

Grilled chicken or steaks, baked potatoes (white or sweet) and a salad

Grilling is all on DH - he and guest DH can have a beer and talk sports while the meat grills

Vegetarian here whose entire family eats meat, as do most of our friends. So -

- big pot of Asian noodles with veggies, and grilled chicken to throw on top
- like a PP, tacos with lots of fixings for people to add what they want (beans, chicken, ground beef, veggies)
- obviously, anything on the grill, with a grain on the side and grilled veggies
- spaghetti and sauce, with meatballs to add, and salad
- homemade pizzas with loads of toppings
- big pot of soup or veggie chili, salad, and biscuits or bread
