Accupuncture during pregnancy?

I'm posting this here to try to reach women who are not currently pregnant, but have been....

Anyone out there try accupuncture during pregnancy to help with first trimester nausea and vomiting? I am at the end of my rope!

I did...but it took me until month 5 to find this treatment. It totally worked and I felt better the next day.

Seriously? The next day?? Oh god, don't give me false hope! That sounds miraculous. This is my third pregnancy and I really am not up for months and months of nausea again. Who did you see and where?

I honestly felt better the next day. The first day I felt kinda calm and a little strange but I went to a wedding the next day and was so much better. I remained better until about month 9 when I started to throw up again...but I was told at that point your stomach is so squished that it can happen.

I went to Catherine "Taffy" Burgess in Vienna. She is a nurse practioner and she is amazing.

How often did you need to go in for treatments? And how far along were you when you went for the first time? You are getting me a little excited here....


I wouldn't be able to go to your person, though, I live and work in DC.
