these were a favorite of mine from my nyc days - soft shortbread triangle with a yummy jam center. i made them at home - so easy, so good. the kids loved making them, it's really fun. thought i'd post the recipe in case anyone wants to try making them for purim (march 20) this year. or for anyone looking for a new cookie recipe to try; this is a keeper.

| Thanks for posting - I remember fondly the day an orthodox classmate brought these for our entire law school section (90 people!) during Purim. They were amazing, and the ones I've bought at Whole Foods just don't cut it. |
| Thanks! My Grandma used to make them but I have never made them at home. I recently tried the packaged ones from WF (Irene's, I think) and they weren't good. |
