Ground Beef - what to make?

Anonymous
I need to make something with ground beef...I am not in the mood for tacos, burritos or meatloaf. Any other ideas?

oh but paula deen has the most wonderful meatloaf EVER...her plain old fashioned meatloaf, google it. But if you don't want that you can make meat sauce. Google Alice Joes Spaghetti Sauce (paula deen). Delish. If you want to go a step further you can use that sauce and make a baked ziti or something.

Lasagna, pasta with bolognese sauce, chili, burgers, meatballs for pasta or soup

Shepherd's pie

Saute onions, carrots and beef with a little olive oil until brown
Drain
Add 1 c. chicken or beef broth and 1 TB tomato paste, 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
Return to heat and simmer for 10 minutes
Add one cup frozen peas
Cover with mashed potatoes (you can use the refrigerated premade ones)
If you like, sprinkle on some grated sharp cheddar cheese
Bake for 1/2hour at 350

OMG! Shepherd's pie it is...it's been forever since I made that. Thanks everyone!

I will definitely try Paula Deens meatloaf - the oats in it sound interesting.

mini burgers (sliders), mini-meatballs with sauce, chili (we only use ground turkey and it tastes great)

I found the recipe. Thanks. It says it contains 510mg sodium. Did you make any sodium adjustments?
