(attempting to) sleep in month 9

Anonymous
Any tips for dealing with restless legs when trying to go to sleep during month 9? I am tired and relaxed when I get to bed, but then my legs seem to acquire a life of their own... Maybe this is just another one of those fun pregnancy experiences?

I wish I had encouraging words. I am struggling to sleep in month 9 too. I fall asleep around 10 pm, then wake up at 2 or 3 and never fall back asleep and am tire at work all day.

One of the reason I wake though is not Restless Leg Syndrome but I get Charlie horse cramps in my calfs...it is soooooo painful !!!

But, just think, soon you will have your little baby and you will be able to sleep when given the chance (b/c you will be soo tired) restless legs or not !
Good luck

This is OP. I get the charlie horse cramps too. The dr. told me to take a magnesium supplement, and I think that helped (or it's just the placebo effect). I also keep a yoga strap next to my bed which is great for stretching your leg out when you can no longer reach your toes!!! Good luck to you too!
