Basically, Trump is hoovering all of the small donations that should be going to the GOP to support the 2024 election and instead, state GOP committee have almost no money. I am sure some billionaires will bail them all out so they can mount credible campaigns, but this is really sad on one level.

I can wait to see if the GOP actually creates a platform in 2024 or if they just go with "whatever Trump wants" like they did in 2020.
