so you think all of the funds with billions in capital, access to Robin Hood buy orders and options markets that no retail investor has access to aren't making money off this surge? Maybe reddit bankrupts or causes massive losses in a couple, that doesn't mean there aren't more making money.

they only people who have their retirements caught up in hedge funds are people with pensions and those use hedge funds because no government or employers is willing to adequately fund a defined benefit pension so they force the pension managers to chase yield. The people relying on 401ks and IRAs don't have access to hedge funds

Or how the banks made a profit of 30 Billion from overdraft fees last year. Breakdown is the banks made over 30 billion from people who literally had no money. F'em all!!!
