For someone not offended, you focused half your post on that fact. But, sure.

It's only not fair to you b/c your entitled son didn't get in when he'd been raised to believe, and thought, he'd skate in wherever he wanted. Now, he has to compete on his merits -not his gender and skin color. And, hon, my kid isn't even in HS yet.

So, you're in favor of affirmative action? Because that's what you're asking for. If boys have lower stats, why should there be equal numbers?

5 in at our W school, interestingly, two of the strongest were denied. I guess they thought it was safety.

Is it politically correct to be a Cavalier? Doesn't that term conjure up genteel notions of antebellum Southern chivalry?

In light of the rape culture that supposedly plagues UVA, perhaps the term Cavalier should be dropped. How about the athletic teams adopt a new name, such as the Virginia Social Justice Warriors? Or the Virginia Woke Tide?

Oh, and by the way: ED is just a mechanism for colleges to identify families who are willing to pay full sticker price.
