I think her clothing is very practical and subdued, not a lot of flashy clothing, big jewelry, or anything hard to move in or hard to walk in, which makes sense because I believe she has always held a job doing classroom teaching (when her husband was the VP, she taught at NOVA).

I don't think 5'2" is " really hard to dress." As long as you have reasonably good proportions and you can afford good tailoring you will look good in photos. It is all about proportions, not height. Short women can wear most things as long as they have the money for a good tailor.

When short women look bad in their professional clothing, so much of the time it's just because the clothing isn't tailored right (like pant hems dragging on the ground or too long sleeves).

Have we confirmed she's 5'2"? Because I agree it's hard to dress, especially if you're not skinny. But I think Kamala looks great.
