WL #3 at Cleveland
#15 at Seaton
#22 at Thomson

Thanks, Swami!

I feel guilty/greedy even hoping for WL movement since last year we struck out altogether. So grateful to be in this position! It's hard not to feel like a bad lottery number is your fault somehow...

Swami says you will receive a Cleveland offer in the next 3 weeks bumping you off the other lists.

PK 4

waitlist Seaton #4
waitlist Garrison #11
waitlist Thomson #12
waitlist Hyde Addison #18

Any chance we get a spot at Seaton? What about the others? Matched at our IB.

Thanks!

Stokes Spanish 95
Stokes French 59
MV 143
DCB 106
ITS 86
TR4 122
Lee 53
TRY 56
Stokes EE Spanish 19
Stokes EE French 2

Swami thinks there is literally no hope. None.

So harsh? Not even for Stokes EE French? Come on, we are #2!

I think Swami was agreeing you have no hope of avoiding Stokes EE because that’s where you will get in- hoping to join you!

Oh, yes. Sigh. Can I really drive there from Bloomingdale? Really? No.

Swami would have said yes if PK4, but nopes on PK3. Swami wants to know if you sorority suicided YY or if you have others on your list?

9th grade:
School Without Walls: 78

Tearing my hair out.

Swami understand-- you are close but no cigar... except for SWW, which your kid is going to love after a mid-August offer.

Latin 5th grade - #13?

#11 Inspired Teaching
#24 Cap City
#27 Two Rivers - 4th

Inspired Teaching seems possible to likely by the count deadline, but what about the other two? All our other WL numbers are in the impossible zone.

Swami doesn't understand if people are sorting by WL number or true preference, but if true preference, you will be at ITS before August playdates kick off.

Swami hopes you aren't fretting about this numbers to your friends, because they are getting annoyed, and you will get offers from all.

Won't be close for any other schools.

Swami says yes, and welcome to DC... it is so much better than Atlanta.

Do we have any shot?

Swami says you'll get a Breakthrough offer and really stress about Montessori.

What says swami?

Swami says yes, that the Tier 3 ranking (deserved or not) is going to freak people out

Can my other son pull him in?

Inspired Teaching Demonstration PCS--Waitlisted #29
E.L. Haynes PCS - Elementary School--Waitlisted - #6
Garrison Elementary School--Waitlisted - #3
Bruce-Monroe Elementary School @ Park View - English Dominant In-boundary--Waitlisted - #8

Swami says you aren't even close to a desperate situation, and will (both) end up at EL Haynes

Chances?

Swami says HA won't move this year like it did last year, and you'll settle in at Cleveland, and wonder why you hate charters.

both my twins are on waitlist for PK3, how likely are they gonna be able to get in?

boy:

Center City PCS - Petworth Waitlisted - #26
West Education Campus Waitlisted - #68
AppleTree PCS - Columbia Heights Waitlisted - #78

girl:
Center City PCS - Petworth Waitlisted - #7
AppleTree PCS - Columbia Heights Waitlisted - #15
West Education Campus Waitlisted - #52
Seaton Elementary School Waitlisted - #57

they are twins, how likely is they can attend the same school if at all?

Swami says, pour a calming drink, you'll be fine with both your kids at CCP by June 15th.

Swami is assuming PK3? If so, Swami says you'll get a post-first-day-of-school offer from Stokes... ONLY because of the EE expansion shuffling things.
