We absolutely love it. My kids have thrived there. I have a three year old and a five year old who have been there for a little over a year. In particular, they are great with the little guy, who has some developmental delays. They have been nothing but supportive and his skills have blossomed. I really do attribute it to the patient and kind teachers. |
I love it. My DD has been there for 1.5 years, since around a year old. The toddler class your kid would probably be joining is led by one of the sweetest, gentlest teachers I've met. We've had a great experience with all of the teachers there, it's affordable for this area, and my DD has absolutely thrived. She went through some typical developmental-stage behavioral issues while we were there and the staff was generally very flexible and easy to work with as we got through it. The only negative thing I would say is that they are still doing 10-day quarantines for COVID exposure, but that policy is set by Alexandria City, not by them, and they are MUCH more reasonable on COVID policy than many other centers in the area while still keeping kids safe. To my knowledge, my kid has never had COVID during the time she's been there -- and we are not particularly super-cautious at this point in the pandemic (we travel, etc.) and test quite often. |
I will add, they have brought back the parents' night out each month! which is a HUGE perk. There is an added fee but it is a much better deal than a babysitter and you have the benefit that your kid is with the trusted teachers you already know |
Thank you all! This is great info.
Our little one had covid back in January and handled it like a champ, so I'm a little less worried about it but good to know about the 10-day quarantine and that they are reasonable about the policies. We're trying to do gentle parenting at home, so its really nice to hear that the teachers there are so patient and gentle as well. |
how much is the added fee? We are scheduled to enroll next month! So I appreciate everyone who posted reviews/replies recently. Has made this transition a bit easier knowing others are having a good experience there. |
$30 for Parents Night Out. |
We are considering this center for our infant - does anyone know how quickly the infant waitlist moves? |
I had a zoom interview with them nobody came to the interview. |
