You have some big issues if you liken your car to a baby then you have serious issues |
You guys are awful! What if the person parked close because the space was tight? (Like they seem to be around here. And I don't even have an SUV.) |
Well for one thing keying the car causes actual damage, whereas the note just sits there and eventually gets thrown away. For another, keying the car is illegal (vandalism/destruction of property) and leaving a note telling the person to stop being a jerk is not. |
| No, and I never will. |
Me neither. Sometimes you have to squeeze your car into the space. Where I live now (Adam's Morgan), we all squeeze in where we can. I can't imagine ever keying someone's car. Geez. And how do you know that the bad park job was their fault? Other cars move, you know, so sometimes it can look like a car is taking up a large amount of space when in fact, other cars have moved and others have parked their larger or smaller cars differently. And, furthermore, how are they supposed to know that the damage you do is their punishment???? No one goes, "Gee, if I hadn't parked so crappy, this key mark woulda never happened!" Chances are, most people don't even know they park crappy, and if they do know, they certainly don't know why they got a key mark. Dude, you're a jerk. |
| Keying a car, slamming your door into someone else's without guilt is sociopathic. Period. End of. No justification |
+1. Ditto for opening your door into someone's car. Can't you guys just deal with a little inconvenience once in a while? What is wrong with you people? |
| um, what? no of course not. what is wrong with you OP?! |
