Right, so why then would it surprise you that lots of people choose to attend AC? If you are an UMC, family your odds of getting into a great school are actually higher than they'd be at, say Edison, WEPO, Justice....

You have to survive it first. And I wish they’d publish university graduation statistics. Like sure, they got in, but struggled due to poor academic preparation. Woo hoo.

I really wanted to move back there when I had kids, but the schools were just too bad, so I stayed in the city. Don't regret it a bit. The outcomes of the kids I know are way poorer than those of children of similar parents who stayed in the city and figured it out. Night and day difference.

Loudoun county is not poorer than Alexandria. It’s the wealthiest county in the US. Falls Church, Arlington and Fairfax are all more wealthy than Alexandria

We aren't talking about the proportion of blacks, were we? We were talking about the proportion of whites. They're basically the same -- 53% in Loudoun and 51% in Alexandria. Do try to keep up. Are you a product of TC Williams? Does that explain your abject stupidity?
