The fact that every picture of Duke is that same chapel and few surrounding buildings is pretty self-revealing…the rest of campus is hideous.

Also a different poster but Yale mom just needed to emphasize that she wasn’t on a mere visit, her kid is there. And topped that off with a story acting like she was in a fairytale.

I love the penn campus! I went to Columbia which was compact but nice. But I have a kid at penn now and I just love it - locust walk, the neighborhood, the vibe. It's pretty and everything is so easily accessible.

Agree on Yale mom. Disagree that Penn's campus is abysmal. Some parts are quite nice. But it's in a city and that's not for everyone.

Duke is Princeton with a more cohesive architectural theme - the core of Princeton is great but there are some ugly buildings mixed in - Duke also has one or two stinkers but fewer than Princeton.
