I have been saying this for years! I’m no health care economist, but why can’t we do this? Didn’t we tax cigarettes and see smoking rates plummet? We could encourage healthier food choices and help fund health care.

But you would need healthier food which will cost more $ and nobody will be able to afford nor want as it's not yummy enough. Go shop at Whole Foods and see how much you can afford and what junk food they offer. I do but I guarantee most of America cannot and will not!
