According to a report submitted by Israeli human rights organizations to the UN Committee Against Torture, Palestinian detainees are subjected to severe torture, including rape with several objects, physical assaults by batons, scalding with boiling water, dog attacks, exposure to severe cold, sleep and food deprivation, and denial of medical care.

Yes, it's all documented everywhere on the internet, including here and here. The barbarism is systemic, cultural, and unremorseful.

Politicians and their zealot minions even storm prisons trying to help IDF soldiers break out of their war crimes detention.

Why are they detained? Oh, yes. That pesky terrorism issue they are integral to. No terror, no detainees. Easier to wail about the consequences of poor decisions and obscene actions than to address to obvious self-inflicted cause.

What's frightening is that there are children being held hostages by Israel including an American citizen who is 16 years old. They are not spared from this type of horrific treatment.

Where’s the GoFundMe link to top off the fundraiser to get you and your loved ones a dose of “poor decisions” and “obscene actions”?

“Terrorism” inflicted on oppressors is less to most fair-minded people and less offensive generally to the human mind than what you referred to as “poor decisions” and “obscene actions” by oppressors. By an enormous margin.

What is he being held hostage for? What are the demands?

When the discussion hangs on “who is worse, these ‘sub-human animals’ we’re relentlessly browbeaten into being told are terrorists or this foreign nation that has received over $300 billion (with a ‘b’) in direct aid from our U.S. government over the past few decades, primarily hit the purpose of bombing those terrorists back to the 9th century?”, you’ve already lost the debate …

Bombing them back to the 9th century won't help; that's their current level of civilization, as amply demonstrated by their behavior. The Palestinians need systemic cultural reform if they are to evolve from their persistent inability to help themselves.

Yeah so the ethnostate of Israel is holding this kid, who didn't do anything wrong except throw stones at an area with no people, indefinitely without even a trial. An American boy. Literally being held in inhuman conditions without a trial for stone throwing at an empty area. Meanwhile, 1000s of barbaric settlers are regularly burning, looting, assaulting, and stealing entire Palestinian villages without any interference by the IDF or US diplomats. All international war crimes. This is why people like Huckabee, Rubio, and Kushner need to see the inside of a courtroom.

NPR: An Israeli military court extends detention of U.S. teen charged with stone-throwing

Last February, Mohammed Ibrahim — then 15 — was awoken and pulled from his bed by Israeli soldiers, who said he'd been spotted throwing stones in the occupied West Bank.

He's Palestinian-American, and his family splits their time between the Tampa area and a sprawling stone house surrounded by olive trees in this West Bank village.

Mohammed, a U.S. citizen, has been in Israeli prison since then, without family visits or phone calls. In March, he turned 16 behind bars, and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Israel has allowed U.S. Embassy officials to visit Mohammed in prison. Zaher Ibrahim says those officials, as well as freed prisoners, told him his son is suffering from scabies — a rash caused by a skin parasite — that began on one foot and has spread all over his body, and that he's lost nearly a third of his body weight.

Under interrogation, Mohammed admitted to throwing a stone near a road, but says he didn't hit anything, and didn't try to.

Members of the U.S. Congress say he may also have "signs of torture." Last month, 27 members of Congress signed a letter to the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who's from Florida, like the Ibrahim family.

It's entirely predictable that this same discussion will occur in 3, 4,5 10, or 15 years after another sneak attack by Palestinians on defenseless civilians. Retaliation will beget the usual excuses - nakba, they stole our land 85, 90, or 100 years ago (by then), we're unsuccessful as a sociaety only because Israel is doing so well when compared to us, they're in cahoots with the Big Bad U.S., it's our Islamic destiny to eradicate all Jews, their military is too powerful, next time we'll surely prevail, etc., etc. And in the end, the result will be the same as is has been this time - thousands, possibly tens of thousands, of Palestinians dead, more territory lost, nothing gained, and another retreat into an ever-decreasing speck of land sustained only through external charity.

Pitiful.
