Based on the net price calculators, even families making $250K are getting significant FA with, say, $500K in assets.


I don’t know where or how you applied for financial aid. We make about 250 and received nothing-2 kids in college. Maybe you’re counting the offer of a $5000 unsubsidized loan.

Depending on your assets, $250K HHI still qualifies for FA at most Ivy League schools, especially those that exclude home equity.
