Uh, no. Not even close.

Animus toward the Tesla brand is fueling the purchase of a large number of guns for personal safety. Antifa tactics always spurs the sales of firearms.

Interesting take. The way we're seeing a lot of purple hair and piercings among the thugs who are torching Teslas?

Your fantasies are fascinating. Are these people in the room with you now?

Now in Germany and the rest of Europe, this is more true. They have dealt with and know how to deal with people like Musk because they have seen what people like him bring. Poor little Elmo is going to get his gigafactory nationalized, if the Germans don’t end up burning it down first, and that POS was the key to his European operation.

Bizarre post. Are these psychos figments of my "fantasies"?

OMG, three people! You know, those Nazi garbage barges were getting vandalized one after another by MAGAs for years and years. Now it’s a sin?

Herr Musk bought the election of a man that pardoned a bunch of J6 rapists and murderers and child molesters and you are clutching pearls about a few randos vandalizing a car?

Get real. You are a joke and everyone sees it.

Aww. You sound embarrassed that your fellow LWNJs are making such utter fools of themselves - and Democrats in general. It *is* pretty pathetic, glad you agree.

Lots of self-reinforcing stupidity in one place. If you enjoy smug acts of futility, I highly recommend going!

Uh ohh, sounds line some hurt feelings sports. Rub a little dirt on it 😂

DP. I don't have hurt feelings, none at all. As a tesla driver I have angry feelings. Angry that I have to worry that my car can be targeted for no f-ing reason having to do with my driving or anything I did. No, I don't owe any of you idiots an apology. I bought a car (not a political token) to drive a to b that gave me the features I wanted for the price I was ok to pay and yes, for the environmental reasons too because I don't like to pollute I don't even like driving and car dependent hell and poor design of DC suburbs even closest ones, but I have no choice. So I am double-angry

PP, honest question: Do you like your Tesla? I'm considering one but am not yet ready, I don't think, to go EV.

With so many real car companies to choose from that make a better product, you’d really be outing yourself as a deliberate maga. If that’s your bag and you can live with that, then don’t come whining when you aren’t making any friends out in the world.

On the off chance that this isn’t a troll, I’ll tell you the cars that people I know have purchased to replace their embarrassing Teslas.

Mercedes EQE
Hyundai Ionic 6
Kia EV6
Porsche Taycan

Each and every one a better product and all without that special Tesla stank of fascism.

DP. So funny how just a few short months ago, Tesla was the Democrats' virtue signaling darling.

Do you maybe not know any Democrats? Folks have known Musk is a nightmare human for years, and it became even more clear after his purchase of Twitter and re-platforming of noted white supremacists. All of that happened in 2022, which is the absolute latest anyone might have bought a Tesla as some sort of EV virtue signaling.

Democrats have short memories, coupled with a penchant for performative activity to support their pet cause du jour. How many Ds buy Fords from a company started by a noted antisemite? Or German cars from companies which supported Germany and war crimes in WWII? Or Japanese cars from companies which supported Japanese WWII atrocities? Ds will be buying Teslas again soon, no doubt; the silent majority of them probably already are.

Take a look at the (inflated) sales numbers that came out, they are not buying.

Of course some people might go back, if the brand is still around. Please note that no one was buying German cars when Hitler was still in power and no one bought Japanese cars when they bombed Pearl Harbor. Tesla will first have to make amends for Elmo. Of course, now there are myriad better choices in the market, so why would anyone bother to buy an inferior product AND suffer social stigma?

It wasn’t, but for the few that this applied to, it was before it was a poison Nazi brand.

Here is a quote for perspective:

“To many people, John Wayne Gacy was a friendly man who loved to entertain young children. He frequently dressed up as his alter ego, Pogo the Clown, at parties that he hosted for his entire neighborhood.”

Wow, sick burn, boomer.

This is a very weird near sexual attraction that you seem to have to Leon. Is it that he seems so powerful? That he’s rich? Is it a physical attraction?

Is this like some masochistic need to have to prostrate yourself for his benefit?

Whatever it is, it’s weird, dude. I’m not one to kink shame, but don’t get all butt hurt when people don’t share your fetishes.

Good news, it sounds like Don is going to fire Musk.

Next, we just get Tesla to fire him.

I’m a die hard 6-speeder, so I’ve never liked Teslas, and still don’t, but it’s amusing seeing angry white liberals seething so hard at a car.

Why does anyone believe it’s a good idea to vandalize personal vehicles of other people? Or damage personal property of innocent people to protest? If you think you have high moral
Ground you don’t: you are mentally ill. This madness needs to end

Makes me wonder would a protest like this occur if Bezos or Zuckerberg been hired to run Doge? Would Whole Foods be targets for Molotov cocktails or graffiti? Everyone that shops at Whole Foods or Amazon stop buying? People that have Facebook stop using it?

Uh, well, those companies and basically every other company on earth have the good sense to avoid politics (let alone allowing their leaders to become known as fringe, right wing kooks). Tesla's brand will probably never fully recover. Tesla's base was liberal Democrats, and those people are Audi.

Still makes me wonder though… Thanks for the input.
