Yet you do not ask Israel to pay back the billions and billions?

If Trump cancelled the election and just stayed President he would be called a dictator. How is Trump wrong? Zelensky cancelled the presidential election in 2024 and said he would remain in power as long as the war continues.

Seems like he has a huge interest in keeping the war going (with US money) and seems like his actions are that of a dictator.

So you think Putin is an elected leader?

Because it’s a proxy war Biden started with Russia. Ukraine is a puppet.

The administration is not “siding with Russia. They are negotiating. How else do you bring about a ceasefire agreement?

Shut up idiot.

Pay back the billions that went into Americans' pockets?

In reality, only a small percentage of the overall aid package takes the form of cash transfers to Kyiv; the vast majority goes right back into the U.S. economy through several federal government mechanisms.

One of the main mechanisms through which the U.S. provides security assistance to Ukraine is the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI)—a funding program led by the Department of Defense. Aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s armed forces, USAI provides funds for training and advising of Ukrainian military personnel, as well as for procurement of weapons. Nearly $32 billion has been allocated to USAI in three years of Russia’s all-out war.

The State Department’s Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program is a similar tool, yet its focus is not only on Ukraine but, rather, U.S. foreign policy goals more broadly. FMF helps American allies like Ukraine buy weapons specifically from U.S. manufacturers, supporting U.S. international interests and its military-industrial complex. FMF funding is not transferred to the recipient and is executed by American government agencies. Congress has allocated roughly $6.3 billion to this program for Ukraine security purposes since 2022.

And then there is the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA), which allows the president to authorize the provision of weapons or services from Defense Department stockpiles to partners. This mechanism provides almost immediate help to allies in emergencies, with assistance sometimes arriving within days of presidential approval. Between August 2021 and April 2024, the State Department used PDA 44 times, providing Ukraine with military assistance worth $23.8 billion.

Sometimes I really wonder how Trump supporters can be so dumb and lack any critical thinking skills. Like seriously, how low IQ are you?

A few quick points:

1) he is literally parroting Russian propoganda lies. You know which of those two countries is a dictatorship? I'll give you a clue, it aim Ukraine. Putin has been Russia's president for around 25 years. They do not have free and fair elections in any sense of the word. Putin has also changed the Russian constitution to allow him to stay in power longer.

2) How do you imagine that Ukraine can have safe elections, when they are in a war? Seriously think it through. Most of the people won't be able to vote due to dangerous conditions (plus other reasons). Moreover, I guarantee Russia would try to influence the election to make it go their way (install a puppet of Putin).

My god you are dumb, but then again, if you had any modicum of intelligence, you would not have voted for Trump.

You might consider involving Ukraine in the negotiations. And the administration is not negotiating. Trump is subservient to Putin and will be giving him whatever he wants. But it's all for show without Ukraine and Europe in the room.

This thread is hilarious. Why does peace bother you so much? We're you really hoping this would go to the last Ukrainian?

Why does a Russian stooge in the White House not bother you? Trump is parroting Russian propaganda and you are the troll.

Trump is setting the stage to abandon both Ukraine and the entire western alliance. He and Putin are putting together a "peace plan" that will be a complete betrayal of both Ukraine and Europe. The terms will be unacceptable - Ukraine will lose nearly a third of its land, most of its rare earth mineral rights, there will be no meaningful security guarantees, there will be an "election" to install a pro-Russia puppet in Kyiv, sanctions will be lifted on Russia, new deals will be signed with Gazprom and other Russian energy entities, and for good measure the United States will pull all forces from the Baltics.

Neither Ukraine nor Europe can agree to these terms. So the United States will abandon both and pursue an alliance with Russia. NATO is effectively dead. And the entire post WWII alliance and security system is no more. A new era begins. The US will pull all its forces from Europe. Europe, the UK, and Canada will scramble to build up their militaries and we can count on WWIII beginning in about three years when Russia has rearmed and invades the Baltics. The US will be regarded as an enemy and an ally of imperial Russia.

It's a disaster.

ALL OF THIS EXACTLY. Great job Maggots

He's a Russian asset. This is totally unsurprising, even if revolting and infuriating.

Why is Trump calling Zelensky a dictator? (See the recent media coverage today)

FFS, America will be standing on the wrong side of history thanks to Trump and his bizarre stance supporting Russia.

Where’s the public outcry from the Hill?

Trump just referred to Zelensky as a “dictator.”Unbelievable. Putin puppet in the White House!

Because the European leaders are warmongers working against the interests of their own people, and Zelensky is an unelected dictator also working against the interests of the Ukrainian people.

The war is only happening because of the U.S. Now we're ending it. If Europe and Zelensky want to invade Russia, that's on them. But the U.S. is now negotiating the end of it's financial, military, and technical support for the war against Russia.
