The school said they aim for two classes of 18, but their third grade (or one of the upper elementary grades) has only one class.

Anyone know why this is? Are a lot of kids starting and leaving WES?

Hi, WES family here. Not sure where you heard that, but the only grade at WES with one section this year is PK4 which is full for 1 section. All other grades have 2 sections. Hope this helps!

A few people have mentioned that WES is good for mild learning disabilities.

Would it be a good choice for a smart, social, neurotypical child too?

We’re evaluating it for our kids. It has impressed us! Oldest is a rising K. No learning or social issues.

A smart, social neurotypical child describes their typical student. It was great for our kids.

They have some ability to support children with mild learning differences, but this is not the thing I’d say they are strong at.
