Has anyone seen a Trump-JD Vance sign posted in public?

Central (Williamsport to Harrisburg). So if that's something that appeals to you/your kid, maybe look at Bucknell?

Further east, I know of one pro-Trump kid at F&M

If I see a political sign in someone's yard or a bumper sticker on their car of any GOP or Dem candidate, I immediately lose all faith in their intelligence. It's one thing to carry out a civil duty by voting for a major party candidate you perceive as the lesser of two evils but only a duped simpleton could openly "support" them. This is why we are seeing less and less political signs and bumper stickers. People are getting smarter.

Very good observation.

This thread caught my eye yesterday, so this morning I watched for signs of either candidate as I drove to work from Great Falls, VA to DC. I saw two Trump/Vance signs, both in Great Falls, plus two American flag signs (tell me you are voting for Trump without telling me) also in Great Falls. No signs at all in McLean. Then one Harris sign in Arlington, plus a "Hate Has No Home" and a "Black Lives Matter" sign, both in Arlington, which I assume are Harris voters. But five signs total is not very many. Perhaps it is just early and we will see more after Labor Day? Or perhaps nobody is proud of their candidate, and 99% are just voting against the other one?

You assume that flying an American flag implies Republican voter. You know what the saying is for making assumptions. As if only republicans are proud Americans, veterans, family of veterans, civil servants. Wow.

My neighbors fly the American flag and I know for a fact they are democrats.

If you’re counting everyone who flies an American flag as a vote for Trump you’re going to be sorely disappointed.
- Harris voter with a flag out front (and I even teach Sunday school at my church! Crazy, right??!!)

Same here. The democrats have not conceded the American flag to MAGA. sorry but absolutely not.

You can generally say that, if they fly the Confederate flag, they are Republicans.

sure, in the fake world that Democrats are unsuccessfully peddling, in which President Trump and all his followers are Nazi's, white supramacist monsters, so it would fit the narrative for Republicans to fly confederate flags on their front lawn. But in the real world, I have not seen many Confederate flags lately. And, if you go back and read history, the Confederates were Democrats and Lincoln was a Republican.

Update your history lessons. There were plenty of confederate flags on trucks as we drove DS to university. Not cool.

I saw a Trump/Vance sign yesterday in PA, and the "Vance" part was in a much smaller font, which seemed odd.

I too mostly seen Trump signs that aren't easily replaced -- huge and up high, and often painted on the side of a barn/shed/garage.

There are also some huge, painted-on "F*ck Joe Biden" signs, which I assume won't get updated, in Upstate New York (go, coastal elites!)

Upstate isn’t considered coastal elite. Rochester, Buffalo, Oswego, Oneida, Pittsfield -coastal elites? Okay.

I don’t think PP said flying an American flag - PP said having an American flag lawn sign … which is different.

Well, it’s mostly true, safe to assume. Just as people flying pride flag or the Earth flag or global citizen flag are likely voting democrat. Neither assumption 100% but we all know there is a high accuracy to it.

I live in Western Loudoun and no.

I think the “weird” label was devastating and snapped these people back to reality. Their bravado is gone.

OTOH it could just be too early.

Not at all safe to assume. You do understand the difference between the Confederate Flag and American Flag, don't you? I proudly fly my American Flag. I can proudly say that I wasn't one of the duped fools that voted for Trump or Biden in 2020 and won't be voting for them in 2024 either!

We are in Wilmington, NC. I figured there would be a sea of Trump signs. There’s not.

It’s much more subdued than I expected

One new one this week.

Also saw a new Harris sign. And a don't vote for racist sign.

We spent last week in the Outer Banks. I saw no Robinson or Trump signs, but I didn't see Stein or Harris signs either. There were lots of Harris ads on shows we streamed. Robinson is so bad that Stein is ahead by 6 to 11 points, and I bet people will vote for Harris while voting for Stein.
