I think it’s great that Baltimore has very strong private schools without the cut-throat admissions drama you see in DC! A strong middle/high school student can be pretty sure they’ll get into a good private, even if perhaps not their first choice. There’s a good balance between supply and demand, and the actual education is as good as anywhere.
