After losing an entire season due to Covid why not add a few more games to this season? Uncommitted 23s and the 24s would appreciate the additional visibility.

Still have some 22’ that aren’t committed that would like a chance to continue to play.

nothing has ever changed with the GZ greater community, when they don't get their way, the world must be against them.

I think the idea of having a larger end-of-the-season tournament between WCAC and the IAC is a good thing.

I care more about the results in the middle of May, than I do back in the middle of March.

I'm not a GP alum or parent but Prep has improved a ton since their opening season loss to the CADETS... and YES I do think the game would be a bit closer than the first game if they were to meet again in late May.

I agree the games would be nice but Prep isn’t the only team improving. St. John’s would kill them again.

STA on the other hand is playing teams like Charlotte Country Day in the pre-season. Really? Why bother? This level of play is not going to help them get better for IAC competition. Seems like a huge waste of time, unless your only focus is to put a W on your record.

Smart to get some wins. Not very good

Gotta make the old STA alums mad with how good they used to be. It can be done. Always been great academically.

What years was St Albans good? It was not the 80’s.

I would guess that the schools you think they ought to be playing (eg, Culver, Haverford, Calvert Hall, etc) probably don’t want to play them because it wouldn’t test their own squads. So likely have to take what you can get and hope that a couple of upsets in IAC play allows you to schedule better competition the next year.

Big one today. Pvi vs Gonzaga.

Prediction: Pvi 13 - Gonzaga 8. Panthers will stun them again.

I'm going with PVI on the W tonight as well but it's going to be a 2 - 3 goal game max.

Also why is the game being played at PVI when the regular-season game last season was at PVI?
Anonymous
Why would PVI winning tonight be an upset? Everyone on this board has been writing Gonzaga off since last year. No one picked Gonzaga to finish ahead of PVI this year and many thought Dematha would be better than Gonzaga.
