OMG, I'm not Chrissy Teigan. I was accused of being Chrissy upthread and then I posted this thing about questioning Courtney's intent.

I've never met Chrissy but I did have a weird exchange once with Courtney that made me think they are a bit frosty. Which is fine, and doesn't mean they deserve to be bullied, but it made me think they are a more complicated figure than it appears. In any case, Courtney is right that Chrissy was a b*tch to her and said awful things. I am just not convinced it means she needs to be permanently shunned.

She wasn't. Chrissy weaponized her viral fame and connections to harass many others in sick and disturbing ways. She made fun of Jay Mohr’s minor son; she mocked Farrah Abraham as a whore when Abraham was still underage; she said she’d happily die “barren,” her word, if she had a kid like Avril Lavigne. It took a two-second Google search to pull that up.

Teigen is that third-rail C-word we’re not allowed to use here. I don’t think she’s capable of change, because I don’t think a decade-plus of vile behavior and “GO KILL YOURSELF” DMs to a minor can be waved away because she’s a messed-up adult addict who wants to be wuvved online and she had a miscarriage.
