Yes, but climate is the aggregate of weather over time. Whenever there is a weather event such as a hurricane, tornadoes tearing stuff up or wildfires, the news media pulls out their scripted pap and wags a finger in our face, talking down to everyone as if we are stupid children, "And it is [announcer puts on the worried face and gulps as if about to announce something scary] Climate Change that is the cause of it all."

Climate changes in a variable range. It changed before the Industrial Revolution and, well, what a surprise, it is still changing today. Imagine that! To blame humans, specifically, Capitalist nations who are told they must give up Capitalism to "save" [what a joke] the planet is stupid. The term Climate Change was chosen because it would get hot when they announced a coming Ice Age and it would get cold when announced it was Global Warming that was going to kill us all. This tarnished their credibility so with the term Climate Change, no matter what the weather the doom and gloom could be attributed to that and then the lie can keep getting repeated that humans are causing the climate to change and it's our fault and we have to pay a lot of money in taxes and reduce our lifestyle (except for designated important people) to "fix" the problem.

any geologist will tell you that we’re in an interglacial period, and it’s highly likely there is going to be another genuine ice age when this interglacial period ends, just as they were predicting back in the ’70s. It’s just that the timing is up in the air.

And I'll take Senator Inofe's assessment rather than wild, hysterical claims from so-called experts in the media.

Since 1895, the media has alternated between global cooling and warming scares during
four separate and sometimes overlapping time periods. From 1895 until the 1930’s the
media peddled a coming ice age.

From the late 1920’s until the 1960’s they warned of global warming. From the 1950’s
until the 1970’s they warned us again of a coming ice age. This makes modern global
warming the fourth estate’s fourth attempt to promote opposing climate change fears
during the last 100 years.
