Outdoor birthday party ideas for 6 year old?

Sandy springs adventure park has a monkey climbing structure. The easy ropes can also be okay for 6 year olds but that’s sort of hit or miss.
Audubon society at woods end in Chevy chase did outdoor parties but not sure with covid. MoCo parks also did parties st the nature centers historically did as well.

We love Sandy spring but 6 is too young to enjoy it. The safety mechanisms are tricky for little hands. Even older kids can get frustrated.

I would have a very simple small party at a park with a playground. Maybe set up a scavenger hunt with images of things to find for an activity? Also google outdoor party games for 1 or 2 more activities if needed. Depends on your group, if they know each other well they will just have fun playing on the playground and eating cake at a picnic table.

I’m in the same boat for my six year old. I thought of a park too but my kids birthday is in December and it might rain or be freezing. I thought of a magic show, bounce house at a park… and I can’t think of anything else. It’s hard

We've gone to winter park parties, more this last year than ever before. It's not bad, only two hours, and most families want their kids to play outside anyway. Just note in the invitation to dress for the weather. Much better than the indoor party venues IMHO.
