I liked bringing a snap n go stroller and infant seat at that age. A mini pack n play (Graco makes one) or a cosleeper (snuggle nest) works well for sleeping. Otherwise, to save room I just buy diapers at my destination. I just bring enough diapers for the flight and a few extra in case we're delayed in the diaper bag. Change baby just before boarding. Nurse baby during takeoff if you can, then hopefully he'll sleep for a good portion of the flight. Takeoff and landing elicit the most cries so just prepare yourself in case. If you don't already have easy access nursing tops/bras, find some you feel comfortable in and wear on the plane. Pack snacks for you. I found flying with kids to be stressful and I have a tougher time dealing if I'm hungry...and while BF-ing I was hungry a lot.
