OP here. He eats every 2 hours during the day. I’m not sure how much because he is nursing, but he he eats 8-10 times a day. He eats 7, 9, 11, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. He has been sleeping 10-7. He does sometimes eat every hour in the being. He used to sleep 10-3/4, 3:30/4:30-7.

So, he's linking his sleep cycle. And he's skipping only 1 feed. That's fine.

He'll let you know if he's hungry

Enjoy it while it lasts. It likely won't.

My pediatrician told me I could stop waking my baby at 4 weeks. She’s 9 weeks now and has almost doubled her birth weight.

Let him sleep! He’s regained his birth weight and sounds like he’s eating well and active during the day. Enjoy the sleep! It might not last, so be prepared for that. But it might! Mine both started to sleep through the night around this age, and were up to 12 hours a night by 12 weeks.

My daughter was exactly like this. Unless your child is losing weight (or your ped tells you otherwise) DO NOT WAKE A SLEEPING BABY AT NIGHT. Enjoy it - sounds like you have a good sleeper

Let your baby sleep, and count your blessings.

Unless baby is losing weight or falling off his/her growth curve, let them sleep!

Don't be negative. It did last for my kid. 6-8h a night at that stage and then 10-12h a night at 11 weeks. Has persisted throughout infancy and toddlerhood. She is now almost 2 and only wakes up at night when really sick.

Same with both my kids.

He started sleeping 4-5 hour stretches. The last 2 nights he has slept 8 hour stretches. He is gaining well but I’m nervous that is too long for him to go without eating. Should I let him sleep or wake him up?

def let him go. all my newborns did this - they were all healthy birthweight and were just fine. enjoy the stretches, it likely won't last!

What a blessing that he is already sleeping through the night! If he was hungry he would wake up in the middle of the night. My daughter slept through the night early on too. Be aware though that our babies needs will change as a they grow and he might start waking up at night again and that is okay too. God created all of our children differently with different needs and different times.

Must be nice. Mine gave me some fake out nights then slept through the night at 17 months and 12 months.

Sorry to hear. I always joke that God gave me the easiest one because I truly can't handle anything harder.

Take the win, if you have enough diapers and they are growing fine enjoy it. My 5 week old randomly did a 7 hour stretch Twas glorious. He does at least one 6 hr stretch a night usually.

I have 3 kids and have never woken up a baby. They’re all still alive and healthy.
