"Midlife Concerns and Eldercare
Previously, the Fifty and Over Forum. Discussion by and about the older and wiser crowd including issues faced by those aging and and caring for those who are aging."

LGBTQIA+ Issues and Relationships
Previously, the LGBTQ Relationships and Discussion forum. Discussion by and about people in the LGBTQIA+ communities, including issues faced by those in the community and caring for those in the community.

And then, or course, two locked threads - the notice about no trolling/hate, and a second one with a good set of resource links for various topics.

This makes sense to me. Let's hear what others have to say.

I like this idea!

[/b]No. They are not relationship questions and don't belong in the LGBTQ relationship forum any more than questions about straight kids belong in the relationship forum.

Thank you, I did not know about that.

Most of my questions are not about DD dating. It’s things like clothing, the low-key homophobic English teacher…

I also like this. As the (straight) parent of a gay child, it never occurred to me to look in the LGBTQ relationships forum. I would absolutely look in a forum branded this way.

Another vote for renaming as pp suggested.

This makes sense. Or LGBTQIA+ Special Concerns and Parenting

I like both of these!

This is so appreciated. I just know it's going to be useful as someone like myself who is now navigating a tween/young teen through this.

Just wanted to say that this website has seen me through so much. I found this website when my daughter was 7 months old. Yes, there's snark, but man alive, when the posters have your back - even if you can't see it at the time - it's gold. Now, as I maneuver through this with my daughter and holy hell not wanting to screw it up, I just wanted to say thanks.
