| At the Ford assembly plant the most popular car in the employee parking lot is a Subaru. Even though they reserve the closest spaces to the entrance for Ford-made vehicles only. Big 3 treat their employees like crap, don’t think it doesn’t trickle down to how they build the cars you buy. |
| If they’re still available I absolutely love my late model Chevy Volt. Just love it. It’s fun to drive, nice looking, reasonably decent sized trunk, and I basically never use gas. Downside is slow charging but with a level 2 can charge fully in I think 4 hours. If you ever need it for a road trip Hybrid engine means you never need to worry about charging. |
BTW Chevy quit making them which is why I said if they’re still available. You may be able to find one used but I assume they’re in high demand as multiple dealers keep trying to buy mine. |
| I drive a ‘16 Subaru Legacy which has served me very well as a commuting car due to its comfort, smooth ride, AWD, and gas mileage. While it’s a foreign brand, my car was manufactured in Indiana so I consider my purchase as supporting American jobs. |
